AfterCare at Ainsworth

Child care is provided at our school by Ainsworth Aftercare Association, a non-profit organization which is governed by a parent board of directors. It is a licensed day care provider, certified by the State of Oregon.

Ainsworth Aftercare provides a wide variety of activities, including art, games, clubs and sports. The activities take place in the cafeteria, the Panda room and on the back field. There is a homework club with a fluent Spanish speaker who is available to help with homework in both English and Spanish.

Ainsworth Aftercare is open to all students (K-5) and strives to keep the adult/student ratio below the 1:15 state ratio. Our aftercare hours are from 2:15pm until 6pm. Care is available on teacher planning days. It is closed on winter break, spring break and summer break and all public holidays when PPS closes the school building.
