PTA

The Ainsworth PTA is dedicated to funding the day-to-day enhancements that keep our school community connected and thriving. We raise funds to support classroom supplies, facilities maintenance, teacher appreciation, and community events. Our primary fundraiser is the Fun Run in May. Volunteers are needed throughout the year, ranging from ongoing commitments, like executive roles and communications, to occasional commitments, like event support.

Foundation / Red Ball

The Ainsworth Foundation aims to bridge the gap in public school funding to help improve student educational outcomes. Building on our proud history of funding critical staffing needs, our focus has evolved to support large-scale academic grants, major technology upgrades, and high-impact enrichment. We are maintaining the Red Ball tradition, with 100% of donations going directly to Ainsworth to fund these major initiatives. Volunteers are needed throughout the year, ranging from ongoing commitments, like executives and the Red Ball Committee, to occasional commitments, like event support.

Apoyemos el Español

Apoyemos el Español supports the K-12 Spanish Immersion Program in the Lincoln cluster schools (Ainsworth, West Sylvan, and Lincoln). Through fundraising efforts, Apoyemos facilitates our Spanish speaking intern program, provides teacher grants for Spanish Immersion classroom resources, and coordinates the 8th grade capstone trip. Volunteers are needed throughout the year and range from ongoing commitments, like the Apoyemos Board, to occasional commitments, like event support.

School Site Council

The School Site Council is a group of parents, staff, and community members who come together to support our school. We look at what's working well, talk about ways to help students succeed, and share ideas to make our school the best it can be. The School Site Council meets four times during the school year and there is no fundraising associated. We work directly with other groups (PTA, Foundation, Apoyemos el Español) for funding and support needs identified.
